As the train departs Spooner Depot, you are seated in the dining car to begin your lunch experience. This buffet meal features a salad bar with seven salad choices, roast beef or roast pork, ham, breakfast sausage, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, french toast sticks, scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes & gravy, chefs choice vegetables, fresh dinner rolls, mini muffins, mini danish, toast, cold cereal and your choice of coffee, iced tea, lemonade, orange juice, apple juice or milk. This dining option requires passengers to serve themselves at our buffet. There's even fresh baked chocolate chip cookies for desert. You will love the scenery as the train passes through Wisconsin's north woods, along the beautiful Namekagon River, over the Bean Creek Trestle, and along the shore of Green Lake.
