Spooner and Washburn
County, Wisconsin
The Spooner Area offers visitors a number of great family
attractions. There are many lakes for fishing and water sports,
great public trails, and several great parks. Below you will find a
list of other area attractions that are worth visiting. This list is
by no means complete and you should contact the Washburn County Tourism
Association for further information about a visit to the Spooner Area.

The former Chicago & Northwestern Railway Depot in Spooner
has been transformed into one of the finest small railroad artifact
museums in the nation. The museum is staffed by retired
railroaders and other volunteers who just love to share tales of the
Iron Road.

You won't want to miss this museum featuring over 100 life-size
Bible characters and more than 400 miniatures carver out of pine by a
local school teacher over a 30 year career. Featured is a
life-size recreation of the Last Supper which took over four years to
create.

Amusement Center

Bulik's Amusement Center features a
Go-Kart track, 2 water slides, a video arcade, 18-hole mini-golf, and
two batting cages. Picnic tables and grills are available for all
day fun! Open 9am to 9pm daily, weather permitting.
