Rekindle the romance onboard the private accommodations of a 1950's vintage sleeping car. Each double bedroom features a private enclosed bathroom, classic upper and lower single beds, and individual climate controls. The dividing wall between adjacent some bedrooms can be opened to create a suite sleeping four. Each car features a dressing room with a shower that guests may use in the morning. Check in to the Bed & Breakfast between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm and once you’re settled in, come down to the private dining/lounge and enjoy a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres before departure.
At 6:00 pm, once the
regular dinner train guests have boarded the dining cars, the engineer gives a
couple of blasts of the horn and the train begins its’ three hour journey
through the scenic northwoods.
Once the train returns to the station around 9:00 pm, you can enjoy a video, have a few cocktails, or even take a stroll in historic downtown Spooner. Main street is only a half block from the depot. Your porter will be in the lounge serving drinks until late and be available throughout the night. Coffee, Juice, Muffins and Danish along with the morning newspaper will be available in the lounge beginning at 6:00 am. A hearty hot breakfast will be served in the lounge between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. Check out time is at 10:00 am.

As the train meanders along tracks originally laid in 1880, your porter will
bring your dinner salad, followed shortly by soup de jour and then your choice
of one of four entrees. After dinner, relax at your table and enjoy a
scrumptious dessert or stroll down the length of the train to the dance car.
You might even want to spend some private time in your bedroom and have your
dessert later in the evening.
