Pizza Train Fundraiser

The Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad offers local non-profit organizations, school groups, and service organizations the opportunity to raise money in a unique party type atmosphere.

Great Family Fun!

The Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad would like to give your organization the opportunity to take a historic trip back in time aboard our Family Pizza Train. On selected nights during the season selected organizations are being given the opportunity to reserve a special Pizza Train for members of your community.  Think of it as a community block party. Ticket prices are $21 for Adults and $15 for Children (3-12), and your group will earn $5/adult and $3/child.

Reserve your special night aboard the train and we’ll send you a complete packet with everything you’ll need to make your event successful. We’ll send you: tickets with prize entry forms, a ticket record sheet to help keep track of tickets, 30 color posters announcing your train, 30 buttons advertising your train, a stack of brochures about the train, and a sample press release that you can send to your local media. The first step is to contact us and reserve your night. We look forward to helping you raise money for your special project.

The Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad would like to give your organization the opportunity to take a historic trip back in time during our Great Pumpkin Train.  Due to recent activity additions we are in need of volunteers to assist passengers throughout their experience.  In exchange for your organization providing 12 volunteers to work a day on the railroad, the WGN will give your group 60 tickets to be used on another day on the Great Pumpkin Train.  Tickets for your outing, which will feature a private car reserved for your groups exclusive use on the trip to the pumpkin patch, can be sold to members of your group as a fundraiser or used to fulfill a service mission of your organization. 

Volunteers will assist with a number of customer service functions including:  boarding and unloading passengers, operating carnival rides, checking safety belts, operating carnival games, face painting, passing out marshmallows, supervising our coloring caboose, general housekeeping, loading and unloading pumpkins and other tasks as required.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and their must be a minimum of 4 volunteers over 18 years of age.  Volunteers will report to the Pumpkin Patch for job assignment at 9:00 am and will be completed with their day by 5:00 pm.
