Basic Wedding Ceremony - Scheduled Train $695.00 + The basic Wedding Ceremony Package offers you the
opportunity to hold your ceremony in the chapel car while the train is
moving slowly through Wisconsin’s beautiful north woods. You have a choice
of holding your wedding on a 2 ½ hour, 30-mile roundtrip from Spooner to
Springbrook that departs at 12 noon on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
during July and August, or a 1 ½ hour, 16-mile roundtrip that
travels to the scenic Namekagon River at 3 pm on select days throughout
the season. The basic wedding package is available on weekends in June and September and Tuesday through Saturday during July and August. Other special departures may be available based on charters of the train outside our regular schedule. For information regarding exact days and times please contact Spooner Ticket Office at (715) 635-3200. The Basic Wedding Package includes 20 persons and starts at $695.00. The basic Wedding Ceremony includes either the 1 ½ or 2½ hour train ride for you and your guests, use of the Chapel Car Everlasting for your wedding ceremony, and use of lounge car Arrowhead for a mini-reception following your ceremony. Schedule and fares subject to change without notice prior to booking your wedding train. Prices are guaranteed as soon as you pay your non-refundable booking retainer. All package prices listed are for roundtrip transportation for the number of guests listed in the package details. Additional guests up to the maximum listed in package options may be added at additional price as listed in specific package. Advance order of wedding train packages is required with final payment for all estimated services due 3 days prior to departure. Trains will run rain or shine. Boarding of chapel car Everlasting will begin 30 minutes prior to published departure times. Smoking is only allowed in the open concession car which may or may not be accessible to your wedding party based on package selection and other onboard activities on day of wedding. A good selection of souvenirs are available for purchase in the Spooner Depot Gift Shop. Layover at an intermediate point may be available by advance arrangement. The Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad reserves the right to substitute equipment as operating conditions dictate. Cab rides are available at an additional charge (limited to two persons per trip).
